  • Humic-A

    UMIC-A, consists of humus containing organic matter and humic acid. Humic acids are found in soil, peat bogs, lignite layers, fresh water sources and leonardite mines. The most important of these resources are the leonardite mines. It contains high amount of humic acid, carbon, macro and micronutrients. A completely natural organic material has not reached the level of coal. Biological activities in Leonardite are five times stronger than other organic substances. Leonardite contains two types of organic matter. These are humic and fulvic acids. Humic Acid is soluble in high pH water or alkaline solutions (It is insoluble in acidic waters with pH less than 2). It has a high molecular weight and has a long chain molecular structure. Its color is between dark brown and black. Fulvic Acid is soluble in solutions (or water) of all pH levels. It has a low molecular weight and a short-chain molecular structure. Its colour is between light yellow and yellow-brown. The amount of total nitrogen is quite high, and that can easily meet the nitrogen needs of plants.

    Effect of HUMIC-A;

    Soil tillage becomes easier. The water permeability of the soil increases. It regulates the temperature values in all layers of the soil. It preserves soil moisture by reducing water losses by evaporation. As it darkens the colour of the soil, it enables the plant to use solar energy better. It increases the beneficial microorganism activities in the soil. It regulates the pH of the soil. It neutralizes the soil. Carbon dioxide, which turns into carbonic acid in the soil, allows some minerals that cannot be taken by the plant to dissolve and be taken by the plant. It increases the uptake of nutrients in the soil. It ensures that the nutrients are preserved in the rhizosphere and used by the plant when necessary. Thus, it prevents nutrient losses. In particular, it minimizes nitrate leaching. Phosphorus in the soil; reacts with potassium, magnesium, aluminum and iron ions and becomes insoluble and cannot be taken by the plant. Humic acid enables these compounds to dissolve and become available. It enables chemical substances, harmful and radioactive elements, like lead, mercury, cadmium, industrial wastes, poisons, present in the soil from soluble to insoluble. Thus, Humic-A prevents them from being absorbed by the plant. It provides earliness in products. As a result of regular use, increases in yield are achieved.
